Surely there are some that have upgraded their LT or Commander with aftermarket exhaust. Jack-Be-Quick is looking for a nice set of stock mufflers from these models to make adapters to fit to standard T-Bird/Storm. Interested in swapping for a JBQ lifting system?
PM me please.

It'll require a set of brackets to relocate the rear muffler mounts and different exhaust elbows at the front.
Keeping the cat or Meerkat or similar crossover will not work. (sorry AZ!)
Here is a comparison of the base 'Birds stock exhaust (left) and LT exhaust (right).

Great ingenuity VABird but I'm happy with the short Tors and CycleWorks crossover (better than Meerkat). A one piece stainless steel fab that's well designed, best performance in mind, not loud. Tal turned me on to this New Zealand h-pipe! A pic before installation....

serious business

an exhaust clip recorded by phone, sounds awesome live.

Wow....those really "skinny up" the bike a bit, without bags.

First mock-up done.
I'll be working on better fit for heat shields though.
No significant change in sound level over stock base T-Bird exhaust.

Kits available now including elbows, brackets and SS hardware. $65 shipped in USA; $75 Can, $82 Europe/Aus.
If you've previously bought JBQ elbows and want to cut them to fit, $40 credit.
BTW, you'll need to source the mufflers. This is the adapter kit only.

Do you sill have these available ? I didnt see them on the site. Also do you think these would work to install a set of V&H from the Commander onto a 2014 Storm ?

Sorry, they are not, and I no longer have the drawings, so this is from memory.

Tubes are 18 Gauge stainless, 1.5" diameter, bent at 45* Length of legs will have to be determined by you, but a word of caution. If you're using a standard exhaust tubing bender, start with a 12" long piece and bend in the middle. Cut to length after you've mounted the mufflers. If you bend too close to the short end, it'll crush the end.

Angles were made from 1/4" X 1" X 1" aluminum 90* extrusion. 3" long with 2" between holes.
Holes were drilled for M8-1.25 X ?? long bolts. I may have some of the bolts and extrusion left over.
